About Stem Club

STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.  These four technical areas represent the curricula of STEM.  STEM education integrates concepts that are usually taught as separate subjects in different classes and emphasizes the application of knowledge to real-life situations.

Each lesson or unit in STEM is typically based around finding a solution to a real life problem and tends to emphasize project based learning.

The STEM Club is a club that encourages students to be problem solvers and use critical thinking skills though the use of hands-on applications that are both fun and challenging.  Students will explore a problem that will be presented to them.  The STEM club is for students in grades 3-5.  The goal of this club is to increase critical thinking skills of each student through hands on projects.
