Hello Bulldog Family,
It is with great pleasure that I begin this journey as the incoming principal of Baskerville Elementary School. It is truly an honor to be a part of a village who is dedicated to improving the lives of children. Each and every one of us at The ‘Ville will work diligently to provide your child with opportunities to help them excel academically, emotionally, and socially as they become globally competitive learners. Elementary school was a time for me when I learned my strengths and was able to show up every day knowing there were adults who cared about me and my academic success. This is what I want your child to experience. At The ‘Ville it is my responsibility to make sure that your child is safe and engaged in learning through communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity.
I believe when working collaboratively, with like-minded individuals who are committed to excellence, we can overcome any challenge presented unto us. No, the work we do is not easy, but the work we do each and every day MATTERS. As we continue to have high expectations for the students of Baskerville I charge each parent and community partner to help us by giving your unyielding support. We cannot do this work alone. The work we do is truly a shared responsibility between the school, families, and community. We are partners in education.
My vision for the ‘Ville is simple. To continue the legacy that is already established. Nelson Mandela said it perfectly, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” For we are truly a village that makes a difference for you, me, and the world today and forever. Again, I am honored to be given this opportunity to serve the students and community of Baskerville Elementary School.
